Some interesting match-ups this weekend, here are my picks, lets see yours!


Andro - Solar Red - Sorry Omega, going with Andro for the sake of consistency.

Atletico - ASG - I'll take ASG, they played well and have momentum.

Figo - Comets - Comets are up and down and Figo is up. Tough one to call IMO. I'll take the easy route, TIE.

CC - Tyler - Tyler

Gunners - Barca - This one has gone back and forth, could go either way. I'll take Gunners to finish strong.

Solar - DTS - You may see a white towel or two on the field before the game even starts. DTS

FCD Blue - FW - FW

FCD Suarez - DT Crafty Marcio - Does the recent Suarez upswing give them a shot? Standing room only, be there. I'll have to take Craft but would like to see Suarez do well.

Force - DT Red - DT Red finishes the Force off. Is this the first time a team goes winless in D1? GOOSE EGG award goes to the FORCE.

Atletico - ASG - ASG is flaky but needs the wins asg.

Figo - Comets - Not sure what Pam Anderson is doing for figo but figo is on a roll FIGO.

CC - Tyler - CC is on a slide and everyone else seems to be beating them lately why not tyler

Gunners - Barca - Barc takes this one but Gunners are making a end of season push so close one.

Solar - DTS - Lol. DTS has been on a slide but should still pull this one out

FCD Blue - FW will run hard and physicall. Little blue boys back down they lose play like they did the last couple and the pull a win. blue

FCD Suarez - Suarez still quietly confident and Craft seems to have lost some of it's cheesyness. Not sure if they are still the cheesiest but picking them to pull one out Craft extra cheesy

Force - DT Red - Force plays better soccer but no way they can match the speed of DTR forward. I swear I saw a couple of the DTR kids drive to the game. DTR

Lol. they defended well but the offenses was entirely kick it up to one kid and hope he could outrun the back line. Maybe it was a bad week but from what I saw during our game I was not impressed at all by their soccer. They did have a team full of those bigger, stronger, faster athletes that you love though and force has none. Athletes didn't help them against blue but they will suck up forces offense with that huge backline, pop it over the top and the really fast forward will outrun forces slow backline. Red will win and in that week show the superiority of athleticsm so stop complaining RIP

My comment had nothing to do with DTR. It was your statement that "Force plays better soccer...." that nearly sent coffee spewing through my nose. Of course given what you've had to bear witness to this season, I guess I can understand how the Force's play might not look all that bad to you.

What is up with that DTR forward? Fast, big, aggressive. Does he score most of their goals? In the few games I saw him play though he was crying and getting overly aggressive and then just outright quitting when he got beat. BTW - I have actually seen this "type" of kid on a few of the D1 teams. These last two weeks are going to be great. Not only a fight for the last few D1 spots but a fight for the "Top 5".

I agree - standing room only at the Suarez - Craft game - this is the last shot for someone to beat them and I think they may just pull it off.

well don't have anything to say about the forward. I am sure he is a great kid. As far as the ball movement. trying to play into space, combination passing, etc. As far as results, and athleticism it wasn't even close DTR all the way. I am sure they gave you guys a great game but that's because your team plays the same style. Actually I would say that you guys attempt to move the ball more than they did. so from the perspective of any sustainable soccer technique, yes it was better. Don't worry, you won't get it and your bb will have moved on to another sport before it matters anyway. Nice jab at blue though. But what I witnessed was bb playing with significance for virually every minute of every game. How about you?

When,where and why haven't they made some comment about the make-up games. It would suck if they make it after the Dallas Cup is over with some teams fighting for spots.
