Another great win over Birmingham, although not a great game itself, started with a opening own goal. Zamola definately should be in the England WC squad. He is super strong holding the ball, makes good passes and scores awesome goals like today's free kick.

Fulham's in a good run, even without starters Depsey, Conchesky and Pantsil. Next away game at Shakhtar Donetsk could be tough though. That was a very good team. Would be unbelievable if they can knock off last year's champions.

Big tie at Shakhtar and Fulham is in teritory they have never been before! The team just looked so solid. A little lucky too as Sharktar is a very strong team and almost surrounded the Fulham box the whole night. They are more like a Brazilian team then a Ukrine team. Next round should be even more fantastic. A little sad for Dempsey he is still out of this great action.

Can't believe the guy broke Arsenal player's leg got selected and Zamora did not get a chance at all.

================================================== ==========
Fabio Capello has named his 24 man England squad to play Egypt this Wednesday, March 3rd at Wembley. Is is as follows:

David James, Robert Green, Joe Hart; Wes Brown, James Milner, John Terry, Matthew Upson, Joleon Lescott, Ryan Shawcross, Leighton Baines, Stephen Warnock; David Beckham, Theo Walcott, Frank Lampard, Gareth Barry, Steven Gerrard, Michael Carrick, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Stewart Downing; Emile Heskey, Jermain Defoe, Wayne Rooney, Peter Crouch, Carlton Cole.

A few things worth noting:

1. Seems England players can’t stay out of trouble. Stoke’s 22 year old central defender Ryan Shawcross (who is having an excellent season by all accounts) was named to the squad just hours after breaking Arsenal midfielder Joe Ledley’s Aaron Ramsey’s leg with a nasty, nasty tackle. It was bad. But in Shawcross’ defence, he did look absolutely horrified afterwards. Capello apparently delayed naming the squad by 40 minutes, as he and assistant Franco Baldini debated whether to cross out Shawcross’ name.

2. The two guys fighting for the left back spot vs Egypt (and possibly vs USA, Algeria and Slovenia) are Leighton Baines and Stephen Warnock. I’d be happy to see either of them start against Egypt.

3. With Glen Johnson still recovering from injury, James Milner appears to be in this squad as a right back. I say this because in the squad listing on the FA website, Milner and Wes Brown are the first two names. I fully expect to see Milner start at right vs Egypt, and think it might be a smart idea.

4. Theo Walcott and Stewart Downing are back. Joe Cole is not. Here’s what Capello had to say about Cole: “There are some problems for him because he is not back like the player I remember,” Capello said. “We have to wait, maybe in the last two months he will improve a lot.”

5. Carlton Cole is in, but no space for Gabby Agbonlahor or Bobby Zamora. Not sure what more Bobby Z could have done to get an England call lately, but seems Capello wasn’t impressed enough.
